OK, this has gotten a bit ridiculous. The web site is up, but thanks to our (large and previously reputable) web host, there is still a problem with a couple of functions and email is still not working. They've broken it, but can't seem to fix it. I've worked in the IT industry for 15 years, and I've never known any of the larger hosting companies to have problems for this long.
I was hoping to delay this move, but given the circumstances, we're going to move to another host now. Unfortunately, this means the site will be down for a couple of days. It will be up and running fully by Tuesday 26th February.
If you've placed an order in the last couple of days, don't worry...your parcel is either on the way or it's packed and ready to go.
Again, I sincerely apologise for this painful process.
Now...where's that glass of wine...

Have we dropped off the face of the earth? No.
Been sipping pina coladas on Hamilton Island? Nope.
Skiing in Aspen? No again.
It certainly seems that way, but no, we're still here! The Duckcloth web site and all Duckcloth email addresses have been down since Thursday afternoon last week. Our web hosting provider had a hardware failure that affected many other businesses as well as us. They're working around the clock to fix it (well that's their story anyway). I apologise profusely to all those who have been trying to access the web site or send emails. It's been an extremely frustrating week! I'm finding the red wine is helping though!
Phone orders are welcome (03 8503 7615). Otherwise, we'll be back up and running anytime between this afternoon and the weekend. Thanks for your patience!

This is the new kids collection, Mackenzie, by Anna Griffin. It includes some lovely classic prints with a contempoary edge. My favourites in the collection are the Sweet Silhouette prints in blue and pink.
There's been a trend towards adult silhouettes in interior design for a while now. Lately, this trend has moved into childrens' interiors. Holly from Decor8 recently posted about these lovely wall decals from French store Harmonie Interieure.
I think these are just beautiful and would add a touch of sophistication to a child's bedroom. You can see more of them here.

Here's another little pre-Christmas project that I've just got around to photographing. It's made from Simplicity 3742 and this Oriental Baubles fabric. This fabric sews up beautifully and drapes well. Although it's 100% cotton, it feels like it contains some silk. It would also work well in dresses or skirts (particularly this one).
